Putting it back together

For those of you in the ancient art history class you have seen works of art that have had to be reassembled from shards that archaeologists have found. Here are some interesting displays of works from ancient Troy discovered in 1870 by Heinrich Schliemann. Yes, of course a German archaeologist so they can be seen in the Neues Museum in Berlin. I also include a few works that are just spectacularly beautiful. Since we just completed our study of the Aegean region I thought you'd find this particularly interesting. Most of this work dates from 1600 BCE-500 CE.

Photo showing some of the discoveries and the red ones are works returned by Russia to the collection.
