Day 3 took us from Colorado to Kansas, another reminder of how vast this country is and how different. The drive was long though Colorado was beautiful, not so much Kansas. Very windy and flat. Was surprised to see the windmills. I assumed Kansans did not really believe in alternative energy production but since they have a lot of wind glad someone thought to make use of it.



I've been to Colorado before but almost always in the winter. It's nice to see it with so much greenery.


Yes, Colorado really does border Kansas. Looking forward to meeting up with the kids, turning around and heading back West.
