White knuckle on the open road

We left Sacramento in the early morning and enjoyed a lovely drive through the hills of the Sierras and then around Tahoe before the stark change from green to brown as we entered Nevada. Many people were wearing masks in Nevada which was surprising. Halfway through Nevada the dashboard lights for the cruise control, anti lock brakes and a few other things came on which was concerning though the van drove well and then the engine light came on which was very concerning so we basically drove straight through to Salt Lake City to the RV dealer just before they closed. They were super nice and let us spend the night in the RV in the parking lot. Scenic view of RVs to the left and right. It was definitely quiet there.

Truckee River and Downtown Reno

Nevada Highway, Wendover on the border with Utah whose whole existence is probably to entertain Utah residents in the casinos, and crossing into Utah the Bonneville Salt Flats which go on forever. Looks like snow but it's salt.

The Great Salt Lake almost there, and the Sprinter Dealer our campground for the night.
